Tanya's neighbor, Omar the cab driver, takes us everywhere we want to go, and today he spent several hours with us shopping for bathroom fixtures.  Finding the basins and commodes wasn't difficult, but there were so many choices for showers!  The stores that carry these items are very posh, and everything is imported from Spain, Italy, China, and the Czech Republic.  Tanya wanted a walk-in stall with water massage, and Omar, going above and beyond the call of duty, got into every shower stall and decided whether it was "patara" (small) or "didi" (big).  He was a great help!

Then Omar loaded the basins and commodes into his SUV and transported them to the new apartment, where he hired some men to carry everything upstairs.  Tanya is going to send the plumber to measure the bathrooms so that she can have the correct size shower stall sent over.  It will be really great when we can try out the shower massage.  This afternoon the electrician came over and took down the chandeliers so that they can be cleaned, moved, and installed in the new place.  Meanwhile Tanya is constantly working on her newest publication, an English textbook for third graders, which is part of the series, 2000 Plus.  The books, accompanying workbooks and CDs are already being sold, and she is putting the finishing touches on the Teacher's Guide.  Then we plan to revise and update our old text, Get Going 1, and finish Get Going 2.  We plan to submit it to the Ministry of Education as a beginning English textbook for seventh graders who have already studied another foreign language.  Once these books are approved by the Ministry, there will be a growing market for them.
