Our Tri-M Music Honor Society Chapter is part of an international society for high school students designed to recognize individuals for their combined academic and musical achievements.  It is a service organization designed to promote the arts in the community, inspire others to engage in the arts, and give leadership opportunities for these students in the arts.  There are more than 5,500 chartered chapters and Tri-M has helped thousands of students provide years of service through schools throughout the world.

Tri-M's mission is to "increase student and school involvement with music and to to make a stronger and more unified school music program."  It is a subsidiary of the Music Educator's National Conference (MENC) and was founded in 1936, incorporated in 1952, and included as a program of MENC.
